Officer Amy Bossi
Officer Amy Bossi developed an interest in law enforcement starting in 1994 when she was involved in a ride along program with the Hopkinton Police Department. She participated in this program for two years. In 1996 she was hired as a part-time police officer in the Town of Henniker. In July of 2002 Officer Bossi was hired as a full time police officer in the Town of Henniker.
Officer Bossi is a member of the departments Sexual Assault Team, this team investigates sexual assaults and assists victims with their needs following an assault. She is a department photographer, and is an evidence control officer for the department. Officer Bossi is also a Field Training Officer for the Henniker Police Department, which involves the training of newly hired police officers.
Officer Bossi attended the FBI Hostage Negotiator Training in 2012 and is the department Hostage Negotiator.
On December 6, 2007 Officer Amy Bossi received the Meritorious Service Award presented to her by the Weare Police Department for her assistance in the apprehension of a mentally ill subject in Weare.
Officer Bossi is very involved in the NH Special Olympic Program and participates in several events every year in support of this program.
